Where do I send my artwork files?
Send to our FTP Site, (       ), attention Graphics Department. Include the job name and your contact information.  

What and where is the imprint area for the calendar?
First we need to identify the area of the calendar to be imprinted. We can customize any or all of the following areas:  
Custom full color image per month with a photo/image – 6-3/8" x 10"
Below date pad grid with custom full color image or black text – 1" x 1"
Back Outside Cover with custom text in black - 577 text characters at  point font size
Tide Geographic Area – Tide area can be specified by EACH calendar and will show in the date grid.
Remember, we are able to fully personalize EACH calendar within your order. Each calendar can have it’s own separate selection of custom imprint information and specs.

Can you do individual personalization's?
Yes, on any of the areas we personalize. The personalization's can be a name, a photo, or copy - NO additional charge.  

Do you have any set up charges?
No set-up charges IF ready to print computer art is provided to us. We can provide you with a template screen from which to work with and upload your art. Orders requiring us to manipulate your art or create copy will be billed at $50.00 per hour (X).
Exact repeat orders will NOT have a set up charge.

Do you save artwork for reorders?
Yes. Your artwork and copy will be saved.  

What if I forgot my password and user name information?
Yes, we are able to reset your access password and user name (email address). Go to homepage, sign in with your email address and follow the prompts to reset.

Do you have a PMS color match charge?
There is no charge for "close to" PMS color matches. We are able to closely match your colors but are unable to match precise PMS colors dead on target. Contact Factory for quote if exact matches are needed. PMS color matches are not available on fluorescent or metallic colors.

Do you have a screen charge?
NO screen charges.  

Will I receive an order acknowledgement?
YES! Please provide us with a complete email address to receive an email acknowledgement of your purchase order. A proof will also be sent separately shortly thereafter.

Is there a charge for a C.O.D. shipment?
Unless credit is established BEFORE the order is placed, the order must be paid for before being produced. Once credit is established, there will be a $15.00 (X) charge per C.O.D. shipment.

Can you provide exact quantities?
YES! Please specify on your purchase order. There is no charge for this service.

Do you have special packaging options available?
YES! Contact Factory for more details.  

Can you drop ship my calendar order for me?
YES!  Contact factory for details.                                     

What is your standard production time?
We ship in 3 to 5 working days after PROOF approval. We MUST HAVE your approval on the proof before we will produce the order.

Will I receive an email proof?
YES! One free email proof per order! The proof will show all custom imprint and placement.

Do you have a rush service?
YES! Contact Factory for more details.

Do you provide online shipment tracking?
YES! Online tracking of your shipment is available beginning the day after order shipment occurs. Please provide us with a complete email address to receive e-mail notification of you order shipment and tracking information.

Can I split ship my order?
YES! $15.00 (C) per destination and/or ship date, changes of address, or change of "via"  with less than 48 hours notice. Split billing is not available.

What type of printing do you use to produce your calendars?
We digitally print our colanders.  

Are your calendars made in the U.S.A.?
YES! All calendars are printed and bound in the U.S.A.

Can I create a virtual sample for your calendar?
YES! Once you are registered with us, you can create your own calendar. This will allow you to access our online virtual spec calendar creation system. Here you can apply your logo, images, and text.

Are art templates available?
Yes, templates are available online and can be used to upload your custom images, logos, and text.  Once your art is uploaded, you can immediately view your virtual proof page by page.

What format is your proof template available in?
PC or MAC.

Are the product proofs actual size?
Yes. However, browsers can distort the sizes shown and printed.
Actual calendar size is 11" x 17".

What makes your calendars eco-friendly?
Our calendars are 100% recyclable.  




Orders acknowledged via e-mail when a complete e-mail address is provided on your purchase order. Notify customer service immediately of any discrepancies. Any changes to the acknowledgments after receipt may require additional charges and lead-time.  

Changes & Cancellations:
All orders are considered firm. Cancellations must be made in writing. Customer will be required to pay for all work completed at the time of the change or cancellation.  

Copy Changes:
Changes are available for EACH calendar within the total order. There is NO CHARGE for copy changes.  

Copy Layout:
Factory is not responsible for misinterpretation of handwritten orders, photocopies or scans - please type. Unless otherwise instructed, Factory reserves the right to rearrange copy or change specified type styles or type sizes for best appearance and/or to meet Factory printing specifications. Factory will follow your layout as closely as possible. Factory reserves the right to refuse any order. Factory assumes no liability for trademark or copyright infringement.  

Distributor Self-Promotion:
Our calendars are available at a special price for self-promotion. Contact Factory for more information.  

Faxed/E-mailed Orders:
We accept faxed/e-mailed orders and consider them original/firm orders. We will not be responsible for orders not received. You must confirm receipt of your order.  

Imprint Colors:
Approximate PMS coated numbers are available. Color variations may occur due to inks and raw materials; some color matches are not possible. Exact PMS color matches may NOT be available. There is NO CHARGE for close to PMS color matches.  

Fluorescent and Metallic Colors:
 Not available on outdoor products, next day zoom service products, process color products, tech accessories or daily living products.  

In-Hands Date:
If an actual "In-Hands" date is noted on the purchase order without specified shipping instructions, we reserve the right to ship via overnight air service to meet the date.  

We are able to ship "exact quantities" on all calendar orders – NO additional charge.  

Orders are packed bulk. Special Packaging available upon request.  

YES! Each calendar within the order can be personalized (name, date, image, or tide chart location) at NO additional charge.  

Production Time:
Production time begins after:
1) We have received usable artwork.
2) All the order details have been specified or confirmed clearly (i.e., color(s), quantity, etc.).
3) Credit has been established, extended or payment has been received.
4) Ship date is specified and is within an acceptable lead-time.
5) Your proof has been approved.
Weekends, holidays and plant shutdowns will extend schedule. We will not be responsible for missed ship dates if the above criteria have not been met. Factory will not be liable for missed event dates. When the customer does not adhere to production schedules, final shipment date(s) will be extended. No liability or penalty shall be incurred for delays beyond our reasonable control (i.e., acts of GOD, acts of war, riots, acts of terrorism, civil disorder, earthquake, fire, flood, government emergency, government actions, labor actions, accidents, energy failure, equipment breakdown or delays of suppliers or carriers, etc.).  

Proof Options:
 We e-mail a digital proof on every order as a standard service to our distributors. We must receive proof approval in writing (email) for each order. Production time begins once proof is approved.
Client generated online proofs are free. Proofs are to be for checking type, artwork and color location or placement. Proofs are available 1 to 3 hours after artwork submission.  

Pre-Production Samples:
Available at $45.00 (C) . Please allow 2 to 4 working days to ship on all Pre-Production Samples. Production Samples are produced under optimum printing conditions and actual product may vary slightly. Production time after a Production Sample will begin upon receipt of your written approval "as is". All are sent via US Mail unless otherwise specified and shipping charges will be invoiced. Artwork changes requested by Distributor will be invoiced at $45.00 (C) per hour.  

All orders for quantities between those listed are charged at the lower unit price.  

Custom Quotes:
Upon receipt of an order, should it be evident that the conditions of the order vary in any way from that which was originally described and/ or quoted, the original quotation will be voided and a new quotation will be issued.  

Repeat Orders:
Please identify repeat orders on your purchase order and provide the Factory with a previous purchase order number, Factory order number, date, and an invoice number. Art is retained on file by the Factory for 3 years in electronic form. Factory will not be responsible for duplication of order(s) if not clearly marked on the purchase order.

Returns & Limited Liability:
No returns without factory authorization. Disclaimer of Liability: Factory disclaims any and all warranties whether expressed or implied, including, but not limited to, any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. In no event shall the Factory be liable for any incidental, indirect, special, punitive or consequential damages of any kind, including, but not limited to, lost revenue or profits regardless of the form of action whether in contract, tort (including negligence), or otherwise, even if the Factory has been advised of the possibility of such damages. In no event shall the maximum liability of the Factory exceed the product price.  

Rights To Promotion:
Unless indicated on purchase order at time of order and in writing, Tidelines reserves the right to use any items produced in displays, advertisements, catalogs, brochures and other promotional uses.  

Rush Service:
Two Day Service is available. A complete production-ready order, artwork and all approvals (i.e. art, credit, questions, proof approvals, etc.) must be received by 11:00 AM PST the day prior to your requested ship date in order to ship the next business day.  

Sample Policy:
We offer free Virtual Samples once you are registered as a distributor. You can upload your art and create Virtual samples for your clients. Random imprinted calendars are billed at net. Please provide a Fed Ex or UPS account number for shipping when requesting random samples.  

Set-Up Charges:
No set-up charges.  

Ship Date:
Specify ship date. Orders without a specified ship date will ship when completed, usually within 3 days of proof approval.  

Stock Images and Graphics:
There are no stock images or graphics available. Each calendar uses only your custom images/text throughout the calendar.    

Type Of Printing:
Digitally printed in the USA.    

Virtual Online Proofs:
Yes. Virtual samples can be created on website from your uploaded artwork once your are registered.  

Website and Catalog Omissions/Errors:
All prices in our marketing materials and on our website are subject to change without notice. Typographic and stenographic errors are subject to correction. Conditions not specifically stated herein shall be governed by established trade customs. Terms inconsistent with those stated herein which may appear on Purchaser’s formal order will not be binding on the Seller.  

Artwork Guidelines:
Accepted Software Programs:
Preferred: Adobe Illustrator® - Save files in AI, EPS, or PDF format with all text turned to outlines. Artwork created in any other program will be imported into Illustrator®. Please prepare your files accordingly.
Also accepted: Photoshop® - Save files in TIFF, PSD or EPS formats, 300 dpi or higher.

General Guidelines:
Minimum Type Size: 6 pt. - Avoid using fine serif fonts.
Minimum Line Thickness: .5 pt., 1.5 pt. on reverse copy or art.
Where imprint colors meet, a minimum of 1 pt. of overlap is required.
Borders/Margins/Bleeds: A 1/8" margin is required from the edge of the item on most products.
We REQUIRE electronic artwork to be supplied on disk or e-mail to meet Factory specifications.
If usable electronic artwork is not supplied, art charges WILL apply.
We can resize artwork to fit the desired layout/shape if requested/authorized to do so. Art charges may apply.
We cannot guarantee exact PMS* color matches, but we will match as closely as possible. Exact color artwork proof or color printed sample is required to produce a process color order. If not provided, Factory will not be liable for matching to unknown color expectations.
A pre-production sample is required on all orders 500 units. These will be provided uncut, free of charge and shipped via UPS Ground service.  

Shipping Instructions:
We will supply one packing slip per order and can use customer supplied packing slip as provided at no charge.
